Trade Account Registration

When you register for a trade account, we collect:

• Full name
• Business name
• Business address
• Eircode
• Email address
• Phone number
• Garage code
• Password (stored in encrypted form — we cannot read your password)

Business name, address and Eircode are required so we can verify that you are a genuine motor trader before approving trade pricing access.

Usage Data (approved trade accounts)

When you are logged in with an approved trade account, we keep a record of how that account is used on our site. That can include pages and vehicles viewed, general activity on the account, and sign-in activity. We use this for our own trade operations and to help protect the service. We do not collect this from logged-out visitors, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

• sb-access-token and sb-refresh-token — authentication cookies that keep you logged in. These are session-based and expire automatically.
• CSRF token — a short-lived security cookie used to protect form submissions.
• Session ID (localStorage) — a browser session identifier for approved trade accounts.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use trusted third-party service providers to host and operate this site. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your data in accordance with GDPR. All data is stored within the EU.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Account data — retained for as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion
• Activity and page view logs — retained for up to 12 months, then automatically deleted
• Contact enquiry records — retained for a reasonable period to handle follow-up queries
